Camco has partnered with The Fertilizer Institute to launch a new initiative to help U.S. corn growers improve the efficiency of their nitrogen fertilizer use while developing new sources of revenue from the sale of carbon credits.With funding provided by USDA, Camco has begun enrolling farmers in our Nitrace Program (www.Nitrace.com) to help them adopt nitrogen best management practices that will reduce unwanted fertilizer losses to air and water, and will also reduce soil emissions of N2O, a powerful greenhouse gas.
